Zwemlessen KonAZ gaan verder bij De Dolfijn
KonAZ en De Dolfijn hebben afgesproken om de huidige leszwemactiviteiten onder te brengen bij De Dolfijn. Koninklijke AZ focust zich vanaf augustus 2026 op het Wedstrijdzwemmen.
Goed nieuws voor alle leszwemmers en hun ouders: de zwemlessen na de zomervakantie gaan dus gewoon door.
Voor de kinderen verandert er weinig:
● de lessen blijven doorgaan;
● de lesgevers blijven hetzelfde;
● de locaties blijven hetzelfde;
● de lestijden blijven hetzelfde.
De komende periode werken KonAZ en De Dolfijn samen aan een zorgvuldige overgang. Ouders ontvangen hierover rechtstreeks meer informatie.
Wij begrijpen dat een verandering vragen kan oproepen. Daarom zijn ouders apart geïnformeerd en zijn vertegenwoordigers van De Dolfijn de komende weken aanwezig bij de zwemlessen om kennis te maken en vragen te beantwoorden.
Wij kijken uit naar een mooie voortzetting van het leszwemmen na de zomer.

KonAZ swimming lessons to continue at De Dolfijn
KonAZ and De Dolfijn have agreed to transfer the current swimming lesson activities to De Dolfijn. From August 2026, Koninklijke AZ will focus on Competitive Swimming.
Good news for all swimmers and their parents: the swimming lessons will therefore continue as usual after the summer holidays.
Little will change for the children:
- the lessons will continue;
- the instructors remain the same;
- the locations remain the same;
- the lesson times remain the same.
In the coming period, KonAZ and De Dolfijn will work together on a smooth transition. Parents will receive more information about this directly.
We understand that a change can raise questions. Therefore, parents have been informed separately, and representatives from De Dolfijn will be present at the swimming lessons in the coming weeks to introduce themselves and answer questions.
We look forward to a wonderful continuation of swimming lessons after the summer.

Waarom gebeurt deze verandering?
KonAZ heeft besloten de leszwemactiviteiten over te dragen aan De Dolfijn. Zo kunnen de zwemlessen ook in de toekomst worden voortgezet.
Wordt mijn kind automatisch overgeschreven naar De Dolfijn?
Ja, wanneer u daarvoor toestemming geeft. In de periode van 9 t/m 23 juni 2026 krijgt u bij de receptie waar de bandjes opgehaald worden, een formulier mee. We vragen u op dit formulier uw gegevens in te vullen en het te ondertekenen. Hiermee geeft u toestemming voor het overdragen van de benodigde gegevens van KonAZ naar De Dolfijn om te zorgen dat de zwemlessen door kunnen gaan na de zomervakantie.
Wat gebeurt er met de gegevens van mijn kind?
De overdracht wordt zorgvuldig en volgens de geldende privacyregels uitgevoerd. Deze vindt u op de pagina met het Privacy Beleid op de website van De Dolfijn en de Privacyverklaring van KonAZ.
Verandert de contributie?
Ja, u vindt de contributies op de website van De Dolfijn
Na iedere zomervakantie wordt altijd een prijsverhoging doorgevoerd. Dit is een normale prijsverhoging omdat de algemene kostenstijging van o.a. zwembaden te dekken. Verder zijn alle leden van zwemverenigingen – dus ook u als lid van KonAZ en straks De Dolfijn – lid van de zwembond, de KNZB. Hiermee waarborgen we de kwaliteit en continuiteit van de zwemsporten. De kosten van het lidmaatschap worden aan de leden doorbelast.
Mijn kind maakt gebruik van Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur. Wat gebeurt daarmee?
Wij zijn hierover in overleg met Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur zodat de betalingen van de zwemlessen ook meegaan van KonAZ naar De Dolfijn . Ouders ontvangen hierover persoonlijk informatie als dat nodig is.
Wat moet ik doen als ik niet door wil gaan met zwemles na de zomervakantie?
In dat geval hoeft u het formulier niet helemaal in te vullen. Het is voor ons wel fijn als u het inlevert bij de receptie, wij maken dan een notitie dat uw kind niet doorgaat met de zwemles na de zomervakantie.

Ik wil een kind of volwassene inschrijven die nu nog geen zwemles bij KonAZ volgt, hoe doe ik dat?
Gebruik de knop hieronder om naar het inschrijfformulier te gaan. Doe dit alleen voor nieuwe aanmeldingen, dus niet als u of uw kind al bij KonAZ zwemt.

Why is this change happening?
KonAZ has decided to transfer the swimming lesson activities to De Dolfijn. This ensures that the swimming lessons can continue in the future.
Will my child’s transfer to De Dolfijn be automatic?
Yes, if you consent to the transfer. In the period from June 9 to June 23, 2026, you will receive a form at the reception where the wristbands are collected. We ask you to fill in your details on this form and sign it. By signing this, you consent to the transfer of the necessary data from KonAZ to De Dolfijn to ensure that swimming lessons can continue after the summer holidays.
What happens to my child’s data?
The transfer is carried out carefully and in accordance with applicable privacy regulations. You can find these on the Privacy Policy page on De Dolfijn’s website and in KonAZ’s Privacy Statement.
Does the membership fee change?
Yes, you can find the membership fees on De Dolfijn’s website.
After every summer holiday there is a price increase. This is a normal price increase to cover the general rise in costs for swimming pools, among other things. Furthermore, all members of swimming clubs — including you as a member of KonAZ and soon De Dolfijn — are members of the swimming federation, the KNZB. This ensures the quality and continuity of swimming sports. The costs of the membership are passed on to the members.
My child uses the Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur. What happens to that?
We are in consultation with Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur regarding this so that payments for swimming lessons are also transferred from KonAZ to De Dolfijn. Parents will receive personal information about this if necessary.
What should I do if I do not want to continue with swimming lessons after the summer holidays?
In that case, you do not need to fill out the form completely. However, it would be helpful for us if you hand it in at the reception; we will then make a note that your child will not be continuing with swimming lessons after the summer holidays.
